The signing ceremony was attended by UNPAR Chancellor, Mr. Mangadar Situmorang, Ph.D., and Director of Operation and Development at Oneject Indonesia, Mr. Edwin Yahya. Several other notable figures present from UNPAR included Prof. Tri Basuki Joewono, Ph.D. as UNPAR’s Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, C. Harimanto Suryanugraha, OSC, Drs., SLL as UNPAR’s Vice Chancellor for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Henky Muljana, S.T., M.Eng. as The Head of LPPM UNPAR, and Dr. Thedy Yogasara, ST., M.Eng.Sc. as The Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology UNPAR, and representing Oneject Indonesia were Andrie Mallisa as the HR & GA Manager, Erik Bahri as the HR Consultant, and Vania Lorrayne as the Recruitment Specialist.
Mr. Mangadar Situmorang as UNPAR Chancellor expressed his optimism regarding the benefits this collaboration will bring to both UNPAR and Oneject. He emphasized the importance of mutual benefit and its impact on the future development of the university and Oneject in the context of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education. He further stated that it is crucial for universities to actively engage in joint ventures that support the learning process and ensure graduates are well-prepared for the workforce. This collaboration aims to transform universities into active contributors to human resource development rather than being confined to ivory towers.
Mr. Edwin Yahya, the Director of Operation and Development at Oneject Indonesia, acknowledged the significant impact that the partnership between UNPAR and Oneject can have. He highlighted the alignment with the Kampus Merdeka program, a part of the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. Collaboration between businesses and universities, known as the Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI), is essential for universities to identify and address the needs of higher education effectively. This includes opportunities for studying, internships, research, and other areas encompassed within the Tridharma of Higher Education.
Mr. Yahya also expressed his hope that Indonesia would have excellent healthcare facilities as a result of such collaborations. He emphasized that while they are not academicians, this partnership serves as a stepping stone for Oneject Indonesia to advance together and contribute to the realization of their goals to serve the nation.
